Spiritist Society of Windsor and Maidenhead (Part of Kardec Group)
Studying the Spiritist Teachings in the Royal Borough
We study the Spiritist Teachings, also known as Spiritism, as codified by Allan Kardec, Saturday mornings from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.
Our meetings are in English and are currently hybrid (in-person in Maidenhead, and online).
Spiritism is a scientific philosophy, and all are welcome to attend, independent of belief, religion, faith, race or background.
Our public meetings consist of the following:
- short reading from Christian Agenda, by Francisco “Chico” Xavier, a book of messages from the Spirit André Luiz
- harmonisation meditation
- study of The Spirits’ Book, a series of questions by Allan Kardec and answers from various Spirits
- study of The Gospel According to Spiritism, a series of studies and observations by Allan Kardec with instructions from various Spirits
- meditation and vibrational healing
Fraternal assistance can be provided after the end of the meeting, when requested in advance.
We also have the André Luiz Book Club, which meets before the main meeting, where we study the “Life in the Spiritual World” series of books from the Spirit André Luiz.
If you are planning to attend our meetings, or for more information about Spiritism, please contact us via the Contacts page, or your can send us a message via the SSWM or Kardec Group Facebook pages.
Kardec Group also runs the Spiritist Society of Bicester, which has meetings every Wednesday at 18:30 in Portuguese.
