Florencio Anton – Mediumistic Painting – Bicester – 15 Feb 2025

Mediumistic Painting with Florencio Anton – 15 Feb 2025, Bicester

Brazilian painting medium, Florencio Anton, will be in Bicester, Oxfordshire, on Saturday 15 Feb 2025, giving a live demonstration of mediumistic painting, as part of his 2025 tour of the UK.

About Florencio Anton

Florencio Anton is a Painting and Drawing Psychic Medium who works under the influence of spirit artists and since 1990 has received, through mediumship, over 30,000 works from 110 different artists including Rembrandt, Picasso, Renoir, Van Gogh, Monet, Boudin, Da Vinci, and Malhoa. He often works with his eyes closed, or partially closed, and takes between 3 to 20 minutes to complete each painting, depending on the size, theme, and artist who communicates through him.

These are fundraising events, and all paintings will be auctioned. All money raised from the auctions will go towards the Kardec Group High Five campaign which supports Comunidade Maria de Nazaré (Mary of Nazareth Community) in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, which is part of the Grupo Espírita Scheilla (Scheilla Spiritist Group), which are run by Florencio.

Please note that children below the age of 12 will not be permitted to attend this event.

Grupo Espírita Scheilla

About the Comunidade Maria de Nazaré and Grupo Espírita Scheilla

These institutions were founded in 1999 by the Brazilian medium Florencio Anton and Sidney Rocha and are located in a poor neighbourhood in the city of Salvador, Bahia, Brazil.

Supported by Spiritist beliefs, these social-educational projects use dialogue and education as instruments to allow people to receive what they need for their physical, social and spiritual wellbeing.

As a non-profit organisation, the four pillars of their principles are based on the Spiritist Teachings from Allan Kardec:

  • Education as a means of progressing morally and gaining independence
  • Support for those in vulnerable situations with the objective of improving their quality of life
  • Spreading and practicing the Spiritist Teachings
  • Working together as a society

The Spiritist group offers technical vocational courses and activities, plus university scholarships, for those who wish to study, as well as projects which help to develop values for the construction of the Good Person, and various other activities for those who are looking for spiritual support.

The social action of Comunidade Maria de Nazaré helps families in the Mussurunga neighbourhood of Salvador, an area where many face problems, including lack of fresh water, poor sanitation, inadequate roads, poor access to suitable housing, and issues related to family life education.

In view of these and other social issues that affect people in that area, the group takes positive action to help restore at least the minimum of dignity to the community who would not otherwise find the support they need.

The activities include:

  • Provisioning of food and nutritional advice for each family
  • Educational funds so that children, and adults, can complete their schooling or university education with the resources they require
  • Projects helping the supported families to construct brick-built houses giving them a dignified place to live
  • Around 600 complete meals every month for the supported children
  • Maternity packs including a baby bath, clothes for new-borns, nappies and feeding bottles

Other social and education initiatives include:

  • Workshops for communication and expression, reading and writing
  • Creative education of arts, crafts and music
  • Cultural field trips to museums, cinemas and theatres

All of these projects and activities are only possible due to the support received through donations and the proceeds from the mediumistic painting demonstrations.
